Hi Friends,
With Spring Break over we just started the last quarter of this school year? During this quarter, my daughter will celebrate several huge milestones - turning 18, attending prom and graduating from high school. On Saturday, we purchased her prom dress, so exciting! She's my baby and about to become an adult. How did that happen? Make sure you are spending quality time with your kids and take lots of pictures and video. They grow up so fast.
I have several things to share with you this week - so let's get started.
Sculpture Garden Picnic - Sat., April 15, 9am-2pm
I invite you and your family to come out to the Busch Annapolis Library this Saturday for a special event. We will be celebrating the new sculpture garden featuring large metal sculptures by guest artist David Hayes. The sculptures were located all around Annapolis for the past year and were recently relocated to the Busch library grounds where they will be on display through summer. At the picnic, there will be live music, activities for kids (by Macaroni KID and ArtFarm Studios), self-guided walking tours of the sculpture gardens and a food and ice cream truck. See you at the Busch Library!

Earth Day Celebration Giveaway
Macaroni KID Annapolis is giving away an Earth Day themed basket worth $70. It includes: woven basket, ceramic hanging planter, tote bag, garden gloves, compostable cutlery, re-usable cup, kite, Love the Earth MadLibs, Birds of Maryland and Delaware and Bugs, Bees, and Other Buzzy Creatures. Deadline to enter is Earth Day, April 22nd at midnight. Share this contest with your family and friends so they can enter also. The winner will be chosen April 23rd at 7pm using random.org. The winner will be contacted by email and have 48 hours to respond.

6th Annual PJ Collection Day - Mon., April 17, 11am-7pm
Casey Cares needs your help. They are seeking pajama donations for critically ill children in pediatric hospitals to help them feel more comfortable and normal. Chick-fil-A restaurants are making it easy for you to donate pajamas by serving as drop off points on PJ Collection Day. Donate new PJs and receive a gift card for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich. Infant and male pajamas for teens are especially needed.

Summer Camps Still Have Openings
If you are still looking for summer fun for your kids, check out the Macaroni KID Summer Camp Guide. The guide includes information about a variety of local camps we know your kids will enjoy. Two programs with openings that I think you should check out are Maryland Hall in Annapolis and the Chincoteague Bay Field Station residential camp in Wallops Island, VA.
