Have you gotten used to the new school start times yet? My friends with elementary age kids are really struggling. I wish them and you a quick adjustment. As the mom of a high schooler, the extra hour of sleep has made mornings so much better around our house.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel the Back-to-School Bowling Bash. I was looking for sponsors to offset the price to make the event affordable to everyone and bring the cost down from $20 per person to $5 per person. The price included 2 hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, and drinks. I will try again next year because I think this will be a fun event and a chance for our readers to meet each other. This weekend the Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu and Tai Chi will be hosting its 22nd Anniversary Celebration. The event includes: Raffle & Giveaways, Tea Gift, Moon Cake Treat, Face Painting, Lion Dance, Kung Fu & Tai Chi Demos, and a Charity Challenge. This is sure to be a fun event so make time to stop by their studio in Arnold.
The Anne Arundel County Fair will be September 14-18, 2022 and I'm happy to report that Macaroni KID Annapolis is giving away 2 admission tickets to two winners. Enter Here to Win Tickets. I am also going to be a judge for the Cute Kid Contest on Sunday, Sept. 18th along with Laura from Macaroni KID Pasadena-Severna Park-Glen Burnie. We did it last year and it was so much fun seeing all of the adorable little kids on stage. I am currently planning several events for our Macaroni KID Annapolis community and am looking for sponsors, volunteers, and free/low cost locations.
