When I was introduced to Bump Bows, I was 8 weeks pregnant. No one else knew, I wasn't showing, and I didn't need anything "maternity" yet. But, in true "Nicole" form, I couldn't wait and decided to contact Carrie, the Bump Bows creater.

I, luckily, never experience any irritation on my belly button while pregnant. But after my pregnancy with Nick, my belly button stayed popped. As in, it never went back to my beautiful "innie" (inny?) that I used to have! So when I started showing with my current pregnancy, my belly button also started showing through every single thing I wore. On most days, I don't mind. But there were a few occasions where I didn't want my popped belly button to be the center of attention - my sister's wedding and my maternity photo shoot being two of those! So, I stuck a bump bow over my belly button and it smoothed it all out beautifully!
I have a friend who is pregnant and due on Saturday (eek!) with her first child. She is unfortunate enough to have irritation on her belly button! I passed her a couple bump bows to test out for me, with the instruction to leave them on as long as they'd stay - whether it was 3 hours or a full month. At the chance of soothing her irritation, she took me up on it. She kept those babies on for a full two weeks each, which gave her belly button a full month of relief!
