PARKS
Downs Park
A great location for weddings and other events. The Chesapeake Room in the Visitor Center features incredible views of the Chesapeake Bay. The Victorian style Mother's Garden can be rented alone or with the Chesapeake Room. Call 410-222-6230 for information.
Mayo Beach Park
A breathtaking venue surrounded by a beautiful sandy beach with panoramic view of the South River. The park provides a pleasant background for a wedding, reunion, or group event from April - October. Call 410-375-0706 for information.
Quiet Waters Park
Offers several locations for weddings, birthdays, and other events. The South River Overlook is perched above the scenic South River. The James Lighthizer Gazebo is located on the edge of a serene pond. The Blue Heron Center in the perfect location for an indoor event. Covered picnic areas are also available to rent.
