Description
STEM needs more girls. We have an event on December 10th from 1-4 pm at Anne Arundel Community College to inspire and encourage girls from kindergarten to College. There will be activities, demonstrations, discussion and network opportunities with women from a variety of STEM fields.. Microsoft, McCormick, the US Coast Guard, Johns Hopkins University, and InVision will be among the participants. The event will take place in the Center for Applied Learning and Technology Building. Girl Scouts can earned their basic Cybersecurity badge. We will have a two hour activity for Daisies through Cadettes. The event is free, but you must register.
