There were tons of wide of fields for the kids to run, kick balls, roll down tiny hills, and just be with nature. A short walk from the park is a beautiful gazebo with a bridge leading to a water fountains that the girls actually sat still long enough for me to enjoy (the bridge also was a great time to tell the girls about "Three Billy Goats Gruff").
As for the playground area, it was perfect. There was plenty to do for big and little ones. The spacing of the play area was ideal; As more parents and children arrived, it didn't feel overcrowded at all. There is rubber "flooring" surrounding the play areas, so the kids could play without you having to worry as much. There were plenty of bench areas to sit and watch the kids run around. I don't have one thing negative to say about this location. Bring your sunscreen, pack a lunch, bring your soccer balls, and sidewalk chalk. This is one park that you can easily spend hours at.
It was truly a treat for my girls and I to visit this special park in Annapolis!
