1. 60th Anniversary of March on Washington Commemoration
- What/Where: This event commemorates the March on Washington in 1963. A quarter of a million people came to hear speakers including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. The Annapolis event includes
- March Re-enactment: Starts at 10am at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and ends at City Dock

2. The Maryland Renaissance Festival
- What: Step back in time and enter a kingdom with jousting, court jesters, singing and merriment. Come dressed in your favorite Medieval costumes, visit artisans, eat turkey legs, and watch lively entertainment.

4. Thrive's 15th Anniversary Celebration - Annapolis
- What: Celebrate Thrive's 15th Anniversary with an open gym and turf time, demos from Thrive athletes, facility tours, community partner booths, and more.

5. Balloon Glow and Laser Show
- What: See incredible hot air balloons, have fun in the Kids Zone (bounce house, train ride, games), listen to DJ and live entertainment, shop at craft and vendor tables, and enjoy festival style food. Tethered Hot Air Balloon rides will be available. About 9pm each night, there will be a fantastic Balloon Glow and Laser show. Bring blankets, chairs, and umbrellas to create your own viewing spot.
