Hi Friends,
A beautiful Spring equals allergies for many people. I'm one of those. But seeing the trees and flowers bloom is worth it in my opinion. Nothing a little nose spray and allergy meds can't help. I hope your family is able to get outside and enjoy the nice weather we have been having. Today I'm expressing my gratitude for living in a place with four seasons and so many parks and outdoor recreation opportunities. I come from a military family and have lived all over the U.S. but to me, no place compares to Annapolis in the Spring, especially May Day. Just Gorgeous!
No E-News Last Week

Unfortunately, I made an error when scheduling the enews to publish and it was never sent out. I'm really sorry about that. Spring Rummage Sale - Saturday, May 13th, 8am-Noon
Go through your closets, basements and garages, your clutter may be someone else's treasure! Make money at this community rummage sale located in the parking lot of the "Pip" Moyer Recreation Center in Annapolis. One table and two chairs are provided for $20 or bring your own table and chairs for $15. Pre-registration required. Rain date Saturday, May 20. The Sculpture Garden Picnic at the Busch Annapolis Library was a little rainy but so much fun. Families came out to see the sculptures by David Hayes, listen to live music, enjoy yummy food truck food, paint mini sculptures from ArtFarm Studio, listen to storytime, and participate in family activities by Macaroni KID Annapolis. It was awesome spending time with and getting to know so many MacKID readers. Special thanks to my dear friend Choyce and my husband Randy for helping out.

Pics from The Wizard of Oz
Last Sunday, my hubby and I went to the Compass Rose Theater on the 3rd floor of Maryland Hall to see the very family-friendly production of the Wizard of Oz. The actors were wonderful and had such beautiful singing voices. A crowd favorite was Buddy who played the role of "Toto". If you are taking young children, arrive early so you can get seats upfront for the best view. The show runs through May 21st and tickets are still available. Purchase tickets here.

Birthday Celebration
It's official! My girl is now 18. Kat celebrated her special day with a party with her friends and began her adult journey. She told her dad and I that "Things were going to be a lot different now." We are hoping that meant she will do more chores around the house but we doubt it. We shall see. Special thanks to Brandi from Card My Yard Bowie for helping her celebrate in a big way. Give Brandi a call at 301-807-1627 and she will deliver a big card to your yard - for any occasion.
