I recently heard that May 15th is Take Your Parents to the Playground Day. Not to be confused with Kids to Parks Day on May 21st. I love the idea that the kids are taking us to the park.
Most of the time we parents take our kids to parks to get out of the house and watch our little ones have fun while burning off their seemingly endless energy. Do you every think about what you get out of the trip?
Take a moment and visualize one of your favorite playground adventures with your kids. What comes to mind? For me, I think of sun beams on a beautiful day in Colorado, while my kids were swinging, making happy sounds with joy on their faces. A moment that is like a photograph in my mind.
