Remote learning and remote work have made for some challenging days lately, and the last thing I want to think about after a tough day is about making dinner. Amiright?We have been testing out some local restaurants in our Back to School Supper Series to determine which makes the cut with providing our family with a quick, delicious, family-friendly meal. This week, we want to brag on Squisito Pizza and Pasta.
Italian food is one of my favorite comfort foods, and Squisito is well known for its pasta and pizza. They also have subs, salads, calzones, and dishes with seafood, plus some tasty appetizers and rich desserts like Tiramisu and cannoli.
As a mom, here are the things I love most about Squisito's. First, everything is 100% made from scratch, right down to the sauces. So the quality really elevates their menu to a higher level. There is a huge variety in their menu, which means that everyone in my family will find something they like and want. Pizzas, pasta, salads, calzones, and more! Their restaurants are clean. Their staff is friendly. I never feel guilty for my kids being kids while we're there. Plus... I'd be lying if I didn't mention that I love the beer and wine options.

As kids, here are the reasons my boys love Squisito's. Their kids' menu is sizeable, so they have plenty of choices when it comes to what they're going to eat. The food tastes good. That's it. (Obviously, they are easier to please!)
We ordered take out tonight and opted for one of their family meals. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone while ordering was super kind and friendly, helping me make selections and offering modifications to the menu choices. (Like, getting our wings 1/2 buffalo and 1/2 plain so our kids could eat some, too!) I love that the family meal menu options make it easy to order a whole meal that will feed the entire family. It's super convenient for an evening after school... plus there are choices for small AND large families! Squisito's knows that one size does not fit all!

Pick up was smooth. The food was ready when they said it would be. Everything came well packed for the car ride home and included ample dressing for the wings and marinara for the garlic bread. It took the stress and hassle out of cooking, and the leftover pizza will make for an easy lunch later in the week.
Will we be back? Yes.
Will we order take out again? Yes.
Are we wishing it was this easy everywhere? Also yes.
