Historic Annapolis was formed in 1952 when concerned citizens joined together to protect the city’s historic structures and character. Since then, many buildings have been preserved and offer the public a glimpse of what life what like in Annapolis in our past. Some of the buildings are open to visit during select days and times.
On Independence Day weekend, you can visit four historic buildings during select hours and participate in special programming. Below you will find specific information for Independence Day weekend along with regular information so you can visit year round.
