Throughout the year, Macaroni Kid brings you the scoop. Now it is YOUR turn to tell us YOUR family’s top go-to choices to enrich, entertain, and EXHAUST your kids. We want to know about the businesses that just plain make your life easier as a parent! Let’s make this a FUN way to highlight the wonderful local businesses that make Annapolis-Edgewater a fabulous place to live, shop, eat, and play!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through September 27, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. Businesses must be located in Annapolis or Edgewater. Only one submission per email address, please.

Nominate your favorites and you will be entered for a chance to win a Target gift card, compliments of Macaroni Kid Annapolis.
What's In It For The Businesses?
After nominations, we will move the top three businesses in each category to the voting stage. Readers and fans will have two weeks to vote for their favorite businesses. We will announce the winners of each category in an upcoming issue in October. The winning business in each category will receive free placement in our Business Directory for year-long recognition on our Macaroni Kid website, a 2018 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business, and the honor of knowing that local Annapolis area families think they are the greatest! The single business with the most overall votes will receive a free annual ad package including a side banner ad and business directory listing. Are you a business owner? Feel free to promote this contest to your loyal customers on your own customer lists, website, and social media!

RULES: Only one submission per email address. The nomination period will run from Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 5 am through Monday, September 11, 2017, at 11:59 PM. The voting period will run from Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 5 am through Wednesday, October 5, 2017, at 11:59 pm. All eligible persons nominating and voting in the 2017 Macaroni Kid Annapolis Gold Daisy Awards will be entered to win a Target gift card. Winner will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org. Winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. You must be a subscriber and over 18 to nominate and vote. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed.
