Well, the Macaroni Kid Annapolis team needed a night out for some team building! We wanted to have fun, chat, eat (duh), step out of our comfort zones and do something different! We knew the perfect new place in Annapolis: Muse Paintbar.
Making our reservation was easy! We went online and chose the picture we liked best, then secured our spots for that night. We all loved the Starry Local painting!
The evening of our reservation, we arrived at Muse Paintbar a few minutes early. First impressions say a lot, and this place looked awesome! It is super artsy, modern, colorful and fun! The brick wall with the giant lighted letters was my favorite! The staff was welcoming. Like, super welcoming! Maybe the most kind and helpful staff I have seen anywhere in a long time. You can tell they love their jobs!
What did we love right off the bat? Everything was set up and ready to go when we walked in. Seats were assigned. Paint, brushes, the canvas, & everything else we needed were there and ready to go. No prep work on our part. As busy moms, this was important to all of us!
PLUS! There is a bar right there! Inside Muse, 5 steps from where we paint! This is a major plus for me. Food and drinks readily available - no pre-planning on our part at all, like a lot of painting events require. We ordered four of the food items, waters and some wine. Everything was so good and so convenient. One of the things that really stuck out to me is that there was a good variety on the menu; including sweet, savory and healthier options!
You're probably wondering how the actual event went. Let me preface by saying none of us have a single ounce of artistic ability. But the incredible staff never made us feel intimidated! Moving step-by-step through the painting made it super easy, and we were all surprised by the end result! In fact, my husband even complimented my painting!
We will definitely be back to Muse Paintbar. We had an amazing time, complete with laughs and bonding!
