First impressions are everything and this two-story wonder does not disappoint! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a casual, yet upscale features. The main entrance features a retail store and bar to taste any variety of wine you can imagine. At this bar, we were able to sample Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Almond Sparkling Wine, Moscato, and everything in between.
Past a dessert case and floor-to-ceiling walls of wine bottles is the elevator to the second floor, which is equally impressive. The indoor area features a dining room and bar, while the outdoor area has a fireplace, outdoor dining room and casual seating area. As a bonus, we were able to catch a killer sunset the night we were there!
The menu items we were invited to sample were nothing short of amazing. The names themselves will make your mouth water. Crispy Crab Beignets. Asian Pork Belly Tostadas. House-Made Meatballs. Over the Border Egg Rolls. Roasted Vegetable & Goat Cheese Flatbread. Gnocchi Carbonara. The Prime Sandwich. We topped it off with sampling their confections of chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate truffles, cheesecake lollipops and candied walnut turtles.
On top of the excellent food and wine we sampled, we learned of Cooper's Hawk's wine club, which is one of the largest in the country. Becoming a wine club member means you receive their winemaker's newly released wine each month, as well as being invited to member-only events, exclusive discounts, rewards and more!
Don't miss out on one of the best hot spots in Annapolis. My husband and I will definitely be back. I can't stop thinking about that gnocchi!
