With all of the excitement in our house over the movie Frozen, we decided to make our own little Olaf. These would make great decorations to display during the winter season or even something the kids can make to add something personal to your holiday gifts. The materials you need are listed below:
MATERIALS
-1 toilet paper roll or paper towel roll cut in half
-white construction paper
-2 googly eyes (or you could draw your own)
-1 orange pom pom
-3 black pom poms
-glue stick
-sticks for arms and hair
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut your paper to be the same height as the toilet paper roll.
2. Put glue on the white paper and have your child roll the toilet paper roll up in the paper.

3. Cut some circles as feet and glue on the bottom.

4. Use a safety pin to poke a hole in the toilet paper roll for arms. After you poke the hole, use a toothpick to make the hole large enough to fit your small twigs.
5. Push your twigs through the toilet paper roll to make the arms.

6. Roll the orange pom pom to make it a little flatter and longer like a carrot nose.
7. Glue the googly eyes and nose on.

8. Draw in eyebrows and smile.

9. Glue on the black pom poms like buttons.

10. Glue or tape the smallest twigs to the top like hair.

11. Enjoy your own little Olaf decoration!
