Let the nominations for the 1st Annual Macaroni Kid Annapolis Gold Daisy Awards begin!
Throughout the year, Macaroni Kid brings you the scoop. Now it is YOUR turn to tell us YOUR family’s top go-to choices to enrich, entertain, and EXHAUST your kids. We want to know about the businesses that just plain make your life easier as a parent! Let’s make this a FUN way to highlight the wonderful local businesses that make Annapolis-Edgewater a fabulous place to live, shop, eat, and play!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through August 31, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like. Businesses must be located in Annapolis or Edgewater. Only one submission per email address please; you must be a subscriber to the newsletter to nominate. You can subscribe here.

What's In It For You?
Nominate your favorites and you will be entered for a chance to win a Target gift card, compliments of Macaroni Kid Annapolis. We will be drawing a winner every week during the nomination and voting periods!
What's In It For The Businesses?
We will announce the winners of each category in an upcoming issue in October. The winning business in each category will receive free placement in the our Business Directory for yearlong recognition in our Macaroni Kid newsletter, a 2016 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business, and the honor of knowing that local Annapolis area families think they are the greatest! The one business with the most overall votes will receive a free annual ad package including a side banner ad and business directory listing. Are you a business owner? Feel free to promote this contest to your loyal customers on your own customer lists, website, and social media!

RULES: Only one submission per email address. The nomination period will run from Thursday August 11, 2016 at 5am through Wednesday August 30, 2016 at 11:59 PM. The voting period will run from Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 5am through Wednesday September 22, 2016 at 11:59pm. All eligible persons nominating and voting in the 2016 Macaroni Kid Annapolis Gold Daisy Awards will be entered to win a Target gift card. Drawings for gift cards will take place each week. Winners will be selected from all eligible entries using Random.org. Winners will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. You MUST be a subscriber and over 18 to nominate and vote. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed.
